Farmers Markets
South Fish Creek Recreation Association`s Farmers` Market
The South Fish Creek Recreation Association Farmers' Market runs rain or shine every Friday afternoon, from 2:00-6:00. The market features the best in home grown, baked and produced goods and is located in the south parking lot of the South Fish Creek Complex, adjacent to the main Arena entrance.

Christmas Festivities Event!
The South Fish Creek Farmers Market welcomes you to come and experience Christmas Festivities, Friday December 11, 2009 from 2:00 to 7:00 pm. The market is located at 333 Shawville Blvd SE (next to the Shawnessy Public Library).
There will be:
- *crafts for kids*
- *a visit from Santa*
- *story time with Mrs. Claus*
- *food and gifts for sale*

The cost is free, however donations will be accepted for the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank.
Trade Shows
Strathmore Heritage Days Trade Fair
Laura has coordinated the 2005, 2007 and 2008 trade shows for the
Strathmore Rodeo and Heritage Days Trade Fair! She will be coordinating the 2009 trade show, as well.
As Trade Show Coordinator Laura...
- Designs the floor plan and coordinates this design with a display company.
- Sells booth spaces to exhibitors.
- Creates a very organized schedule for booth set up.
- Schedules the authors and musicians.
- Collects donations for a draw at the end of the event.
- Assists exhibitors during the entirety of the event.
Weddings
In between trade shows, Laura helped plan Carol and Michael Schmidt's July, 2008 wedding.
Reunions
Forest Lawn Senior High School - Class of 1978, 25 year Reunion
Two years of planning produced a highly successful 25 year reunion for Forest Lawn High School's 1978 graduating class. The event included one night of smoozing in the high school rotunda and another night of dinner and dancing in the newly completed Africa Safari complex at the Calgary Zoo.
